Coaching Philosophy
My training sessions are based on various fundamentals. I always strive to ensure that we are physically and technically prepared.
I pay great attention to technical skills — water polo technique is a very important part of developing a good player.
I have coached several very talented and successful players, such as Toni Petrovic and Damir Crepulja (Champions League winners in 2009), as well as Montenegrin national team players Vuk Draskovic, Dusan Matkovic, Misko Perkovic, and Alen Isljamovic.
I also worked with Niko Subladze, the goalkeeper of the Georgian national team. All of these players were part of the Primorac team in 2017.
Regarding the younger generation (2008-born players), at the World Championship in Podgorica, the goalkeeper from my team was named Best Goalkeeper of the Championship.
In addition to him, I had two more players from my club in the national team:
Marko Pejovic (2008, best goalkeeper of the tournament), Danilo Roganovic (2008), and Marko Milinic (2008).
This year, the boys born in 2007 whom I have coached for many years are now part of the Primorac first team:
Andrija Roganovic, Djordje Pejovic, and Milos Milinic.
I was also engaged as assistant coach for the Montenegrin national team during the preparations for the U16 World Championship in Volos 2022, and I served as assistant coach at the Youth Games tournament in Ancona 2019.

Current Position

I am currently the head coach of North Allegheny High School and the Tiger Water Polo Club in Pennsylvania, USA.
With my teams, I have achieved great success — we won the Pennsylvania Cup, and at the Junior Olympics tournament in Dallas, we finished in 2nd place out of 26 teams.
First place – State Champion 2025, North Allegheny, Pennsylvania
